CORVALLIS - An Oregon State University student from Boise, Idaho, has earned two top university awards.

Benjamin Hill, a senior in engineering, earned the Robert MacVicar Exceptional Service Award and the Blue Key Dubach Award.

The Dubach award is presented annually by the OSU chapter of Blue Key to a senior with outstanding ideals who performs exemplary service to the university. The award is given in honor of U.G. Dubach, OSU dean of men from 1924-1947. The MacVicar award honors past OSU President Robert MacVicar and also recognizes exceptional service to the university.

Hill has served as president of the OSU Memorial Union Program Council, council forums chairman and as a member of the OSU Student Fees Committee. The program council is the largest educational, recreational and social programming group on campus. Supported by student fees, the council organizes speakers, sporting and other special events, as well as weekly campus movie nights.
