ORVALLIS - Daniel Dunham, a professor of education at Oregon State University, has received the 1996 Outstanding Service Award from the American Vocational Association.

The association of professional and technical educators has more than 38,000 members nationally.

Dunham is director of applied research and development for OSU's School of Education. He was cited for his "contributions and commitment to the work and purposes of the American Vocational Association."

He has been on the OSU faculty since 1983.
