CORVALLIS - A memorial service will be held this Friday, June 27, for Chika Kobayashi, an 18-year-old Oregon State University student who died last week in a single-vehicle accident north of Woodburn.

The service will begin at 10 a.m. in Peavy Hall 130.

Kobayashi, 18, of Osaka, Japan, was enrolled in the English Language Institute at OSU.

Four other OSU students, also enrolled in the ELI program, suffered only minor injuries in the accident.
