NEWBERG - The art of succession - when a business makes the transition from one generation to the next - may be the most challenging issue that family business owners face, said Patricia Frishkoff, director of Oregon State University's Austin Family Business Program.

To promote long-run business success in Oregon, the Austin Family Business Program, with sponsorship by U.S. Bank, will hold a succession workshop in Newberg for family business owners.

The three-hour workshop starts at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at A-dec, Inc., 2601 Crestview. There will be an optional tour of A-dec at 12:15 p.m.
