CORVALLIS - Oregon State University's Dad's Weekend enters its 65th year on Feb. 6, featuring more than 25 activities, including car shows, a Shakespearean play and a barbecue.

While some of the events are open only to the more than 3,000 fathers of OSU students expected to visit campus, many activities are free and open to the public.

Activities begin on Friday, Feb. 6, when students are encouraged to take their fathers to OSU's Dixon Recreation Center, where dads will have free access to swimming, basketball courts, weight machines and a variety of other fitness activities. Friday evening offers a choice between classic and popular culture with the screening of the 1997 film "Air Force One" an OSU music performance or the University Theatre's presentation of Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus."
