CORVALLIS - Hung Viet Le, a doctoral student in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University, has received a 1998-99 Oregon Sports Lottery Graduate Scholarship.

Le, a resident of Portland (97236), was nominated for this award due to his outstanding academic record and future promise as a mathematician, educators said.
