CORVALLIS - An Oregon State University student from Aloha will serve as assistant coordinator of the university's Asian Cultural Center

Jennifer Dulay, a 1996 graduate of Hillsboro High School, will supervise the center's office staff, coordinate work schedules and maintain the center's operating budget.

An OSU sophomore, Dulay has served as events coordinator at the center for the past year. While at Hillsboro High, she served as secretary of international relations for the school's International High School. She was also on the Principal's Advisory Committee for Diversity, was a student of the month in advanced placement calculus and social studies and was elected a senior princess.

The Asian Cultural Center is one of four student cultural centers at OSU. The centers provide a focus for cultures and traditions on the OSU campus and support students in their pursuit of their educational goals and recognition of cultures. The other centers are the Black Cultural Center, Hispanic Cultural Center and the Native American Longhouse.
