CORVALLIS, Ore. - Two Oregon State University students have earned spots directing operations of OSU's 1998-99 Beaver yearbook.

Lisa Petersen, a sophomore in general agriculture, will serve as OSU yearbook editor, and Natalie Gould, a junior in graphic design, will be Beaver business manager.

Petersen, a resident of Santa Ynez, Calif., served as organizations editor for the Beaver yearbook during her freshman year. She also served as an editor for her high school year.

Petersen, who is minoring in communications, said she is planning a career in agricultural communications.

Gould, a resident of San Marcos, Calif., is also no stranger to the yearbook staff. In 1996 she became OSU's first freshman ever appointed Beaver yearbook editor and she was reappointed to the editor's post last year.

Both women were appointed by OSU's University Student Media Committee, which oversees OSU's student publications.
