CORVALLIS - The Department of Apparel, Interiors, Housing and Merchandising at Oregon State University will host a career fair for its students Friday (Jan. 22) that is open to the public.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes sessions on careers in apparel products and design, housing studies and interior design, merchandising management, and retail. Concurrent sessions will begin at 10 a.m., 11:20 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker Gary H. Larson, a designer with Boucher Mouchka Larson Architects in Portland, will address the conference at 9 a.m. He has received more than a dozen awards for design excellence and was named a fellow of the American Academy in Rome.

All events are in LaSells Stewart Center and are free and open to the public.
