CORVALLIS - Oregon State University students, faculty and administrators will host an event in McMinnville on Monday, Nov. 15, to help Hispanic-Latino students attending area high schools prepare for college.

Part of OSU's 1999-2000 series of Community Outreach events, the session will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at McMinnville High School, 615 E. 15th St.

The program, preceded by dinner, is designed for students and their families, as well as community leaders, in the areas served by McMinnville, Newberg, Amity, Yamhill-Carlton, Sheridan, Willamina and Dayton high schools.

Scheduled speakers include OSU President Paul Risser, as well as OSU students, faculty and staff. Small group sessions will also be held.
