CORVALLIS - Ed Zollner of Eugene has been elected president of the Oregon 4-H Foundation at the organization's annual meeting in Corvallis at Oregon State University.

Zollner, a retired banker, succeeds Mike Macnab, Portland, as leader of the foundation that seeks and receives private funds in support of the 4-H youth development program of the OSU Extension Service. Macnab will continue on the foundation's board of trustees as past president. This is the second time that Zollner has served as president. His first two-year term was 1992-93.

Attending his first annual meeting as the new director of development of the 4-H Foundation was Todd Olney. He replaces Melanie Marshall, who accepted a new position within the OSU Foundation. Olney comes to his position from Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation in Corvallis. He also has previous experience with the OSU Foundation.

Reelected to the board of trustees were Holly Weimar, Arlington; Len Calvert, Eugene; Martin Zimmerman, Madras, and Lillian Adams, Portland. Weimar was also elected to the post of second vice president.

New trustees elected to the board were Judy Grove, Albany, long-time 4-H leader and supporter in Linn County; Danna Magnuson, Eugene, a student a George Fox College who formerly served as a youth representative on the board as a Lane County 4-H member; Lynn Mattecheck, Portland, in the real estate business in the Portland Metro area.

Tiffany Anderson, Salem, Marion County 4-H member who will be one of three youth representatives on the board; and R. Roy Hamilton, Coulee Dam, Wash., former OSU Extension 4-H youth development faculty member in Union County. Elaine Husted, Canyon City, OSU Extension faculty member in Grant County, was appointed to represented 4-H youth faculty on the board.
