BEND - D'Ann Campbell, a candidate for campus executive officer at the Oregon State University-Cascades Campus, has been invited back to the Bend and Corvallis campuses for a second round of interviews and appearances.

Campbell is interim president of White Pines College in Chester, N.H.

She will return to the OSU-Cascades campus Nov. 28 and will be on OSU's Corvallis campus Nov. 29-30.

The campus executive officer is the leading administrative position for Oregon's first branch campus. Roy Arnold, a long-time OSU administrator and former provost, has been in that position on a part-time, temporary basis for the last two months as the search has progressed.

Campbell oversees all academic, student and business affairs for White Pines College. She has held administrative appointments at colleges in Indiana and Tennessee, and was vice president for academic affairs for two universities in the Northeast.

An expert on women in the military, she has a Ph.D. in American history from the University of North Carolina.
