CORVALLIS - Unbiased leadership abilities on campus and in the community have earned an Oregon State University student from Haines a Grace Wu Memorial Scholarship.

Andrea R. Boyer, a junior in agricultural and resource economics, was nominated for acts and deeds noticed by campus faculty and staff.

Boyer has served as treasurer for OSU's Policy and Law Society and has also served as editor for the society newsletter.

During her time at the university, she has also earned a spot on the OSU scholastic honor roll.

The Grace Wu Memorial Scholarship was established in 1982 in memory of Wu, former assistant director of personnel services at the university. She graduated from Oregon State College, which later became OSU, in 1956.
