CORVALLIS - For the 22nd year, the Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences is inviting artists to create and submit art inspired by agriculture or natural resources practice, culture, economy or science.

Submissions will be used for the college's annual fine art competition and exhibition, "Art About Agriculture" Tour 2004.

The exhibit will tour the Pacific Northwest from March through September 2004. Entries are sought in all visual fine art media and the competition is open to artists living in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Student work is not eligible.

Jurors for the competition will be Harrison Branch, Corvallis; John Maul, Corvallis; and Sue Lynn Thomas, Portland. More than $4,000 will be available for purchase and honor awards granted by the jurors.

Submissions must be postmarked, or hand-delivered to the Art About Agriculture program by 4 p.m., no later than Dec. 2, 2003.
