CORVALLIS, Ore. – The annual Student Design Exhibition and Fashion Show will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at Oregon State University’s CH2M-Hill Alumni Center. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The event, called “Glamour Confidential,” is organized by students in the Department of Design and Human Environment in the College of Health and Human Sciences. This is the third year of the fashion show.

Students majoring in apparel design, interior design, housing studies and merchandising management will showcase their work at the show.

Along with the fashion show, there will also be a mounted exhibition of design work by students in the interior design and housing studies programs.

The design exhibition and fashion show was organized by students in a course taught by Marianne Egan during winter and spring terms. The students learned to produce a show by writing a proposal for funding, training students to model for the show, promoting the event among student designers, planning the runway and publicizing the event.

More than 40 OSU students will be involved with assisting the organizers in putting together the fashion show and exhibit.

Attendees are asked to dress in formal or “glamorous” attire.

The fashion show is free and open to the public.
