CORVALLIS, Ore. – Six new members have been elected to the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees – the nonprofit organization that raises private funds for Oregon State University.

The new members are Gayle Fitzpatrick, Scott Hildebrandt, Tod Perkins, Greg Serrurier, Tom Toomey and Tony Williams. They will serve three-year terms, joining 43 existing trustees in implementing the university’s first campus-wide fundraising campaign.

“These successful alumni will be tremendous additions to our board,” said Mike Goodwin, the OSU Foundation’s president and CEO. “I am very grateful to have their expertise, support and enthusiasm, as we prepare to launch this historic campaign for the university.”

Fitzpatrick of Morristown, N.J., is group vice president of sales consulting at Oracle Corporation, where she has worked for more than 21 years. She is a 1978 OSU business graduate and holds a master’s in computer science from University of California, Davis.

Hildebrandt of Portland, Ore., is the vice president and chief financial officer of Planar Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic display systems and products in the medical, industrial, commercial and retail markets. Prior to joining Planar in 2005, Hildebrandt worked with Merant Software, InFocus, Tektronix and Deloitte & Touche. He graduated from OSU with a degree in business in 1978.

Perkins of New York City is a managing director at the financial services firm, J.P. Morgan. He has worked in investment banking since graduating from OSU with a business degree in 1986, including executive positions at HSBC, Salomon Brothers and Union Bank of Switzerland.

Serrurier of Menlo Park, Calif., has had a successful 23-year career with Dodge & Cox in San Francisco, where he is vice president. He is a 1979 OSU zoology graduate and earned a master of business administration from Stanford University in 1984.

Toomey of Denver, Colo., is president and CEO of UDR, Inc., a leading multi-family real estate investment trust company. Prior to joining UDR in 2001, he was chief operating officer and chief financial officer with AIMCO, another REIT. Toomey has 10 years of experience in public accounting and earned his bachelor’s in business from OSU in 1982.

Williams of Clyde Hill, Wash., is a partner with Washington Advocates, a lobbying and consulting firm he co-founded in 2001 to address issues important to the Pacific Northwest. Previously, he served as chief of staff for former U.S. Sen. Slade Gorton of Washington for six years. Williams graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism in 1987.

Oregon State University and the OSU Foundation will officially launch the university's first campus-wide campaign on Oct. 26. Guided by OSU's strategic plan, The Campaign for OSU seeks private funds to enhance the university’s mission to provide opportunity for students, strengthen Oregon, and conduct research that changes the world. Early momentum in the campaign includes more than 58 gifts of $1 million or more.
