CORVALLIS - Oregon State University pharmacy students have earned awards and scholarships valued at more than $72,000 for OSU's 1997-98 academic year, which starts Sept. 29.

The OSU College of Pharmacy begin in 1898. The college offers both four-year and graduate programs in pharmacy. Individuals earning their bachelor of science degrees in pharmacy are eligible for licensure as pharmacists throughout the nation. Master's and doctoral degree candidates usually pursue careers in research and academics.
