CORVALLIS, Ore. - The annual ROTC Joint Service Review at Oregon State University takes place on Friday, April 30, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Union quad.

The event is held by the four branches of the military that are represented in OSU's three ROTC programs on campus, Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force. The ROTC units take turns hosting the event, and this year the Naval ROTC unit is the hosting unit.

The three units muster on the MU quad. The ceremony begins with the presentation of the colors and a brief introduction of the visiting flag officer. This year the commander of Naval Region NorthWest, Rear Admiral James Symonds will give the keynote address.

After the address, selected students receive awards for their outstanding performance throughout the year.  This short awards ceremony is followed by a pass in review, in which the three units march in review before the visiting flag officer.

After the ceremony, parents, guests and students are invited into the MU for refreshments.  OSU faculty, students and community guests are invited to attend.
