CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University student Taliesin Mihacsi will debut her new play, "Coming Home," on April 8-9 at 7:30 p.m. and April 10 at 2 p.m. in the Withycombe Hall Lab Theatre on the OSU campus.

The student-written and directed one-act play is the final project of Mihacsi's Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. "Coming Home" is a breast cancer awareness play about the Turner family, which is forced to deal with a difficult time in their lives.

"Too often women are faced with this devastating illness," Mihacsi said. "Not only do they have to find their own inner strength, but they must also rely on the support of their loved ones. This production is about the struggle, loss and hope that can arise when a family member is diagnosed with breast cancer."

The cast includes OSU students Kayla Hedwall as Angela, Kody Mikkelson as Edward, Jordyn Patton as Elizabeth, Rowan Russell as William, and Matt O'Brien as Andrew. Abbey Pasquini is the stage manager.

Tickets are free and available at the door only. A $3 suggested donation per ticket will go to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Each performance will be followed by a short talk-back featuring the playwright/director and the cast. This play contains adult content and may not be suitable for all viewers.
