CORVALLIS, Ore. - The International Students of Oregon State University (ISOSU) will hold its annual Spring Festival this Sunday, May 6, in the Memorial Union quad on campus, with the theme "Celebrating Mothers around the World."

This free public event begins at noon and continues through 4 p.m., with food, information booths, games, decorations and more.

ISOSU is a student-led program through the university's Student Leadership & Involvement office and has 12 affiliate groups that promote their cultures and organizations. They include the Association of Latin American Students, African Student Association, Cambodian Student Association, Chinese Student Association, Indonesian Student Association, HMONG Student Association, Indian Student Association, European Student Association, Japanese Student Association, Korean Student Association, Taiwanese Student Association and Vietnamese Student Association.

The Spring Festival will serve as a final event for the Moms Weekend celebration at OSU. In addition to international cuisine, the festival will feature live music and dance performances from students and groups around Oregon, and a children's corner with games, face-painting and other activities.
