CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University will holds its annual Joint Service Review this Friday, May 2, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Union quad. The event is free and open to the public.

Four branches of the military, represented by Oregon State's three ROTC programs, will be in full dress uniform for the review, which will be conducted by Major Gen. Daniel R. Hokanson, Adjutant General of the Oregon National Guard.

U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio will be guest speaker.

OSU's Army ROTC unit is hosting this year's review, an annual rite that is nearly a century old. Students in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force will perform drills during the review.

Nearby parking is limited, so a free shuttle service will run before the event beginning at 8:30 a.m. and run again after the event. Spectators are asked to park in the OSU parking structure at the corner of Southwest 26th Street and Washington Way and wait for the shuttle at the front of the OSU Beaver Store. Visitor parking permits cost $1 per hour or $7 per day.
