In less than one year, Oregon State University donors have given $91.6 million to transform Reser Stadium, exceeding an $85 million fundraising goal, Scott Barnes, vice president and director of OSU Athletics, announced Wednesday night at the university’s annual football national signing day event.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State University Board of Trustees on Friday approved a presidential profile that will guide the university’s search for its next president. The board also heard an update on the national search that is underway and anticipates the selection of a new president to occur in late May.

A host of free events highlight the achievements and struggles of African-Americans 

The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 in the Horizon Room of the Memorial Union on the university’s Corvallis campus. The Memorial Union is located at 2501 SW Jefferson Way.

The public is invited to view a livestream of the implosion of the west side of Oregon State University’s Reser Stadium the morning of Friday, Jan. 7, as part of a $153 million project to complete Reser Stadium.

Oregon State University plans to resume in-person instruction and other university activities and operations on Jan. 3 as planned at all of its campuses and locations.

The Oregon State University Board of Trustees on Friday approved a presidential search process to name a new OSU president by the end of May and voted to elect a new board chair and vice chair.

LaTosha Brown, a leader in national efforts to build Black political engagement and expand voter access, will be the keynote speaker at Oregon State University’s 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Jan. 17, 2022.
