CORVALLIS - The Oregon State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by David Hoffman, will perform on Thursday, May 30. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at LaSells Stewart Center, 26th Street and Western Boulevard in Corvallis.

The program includes a richly varied selection of musical works, including "Jubilee Overture" by Philip Sparke, "Suite from 'The Marriage of Figaro'" by Mozart, "Timepieces" by Cynthia Folio, "Colours" by Roger Cichy, "Blue Shades" by Frank Tichel, and "Wedding Dance" by Jacques Press.

The OSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble is an auditioned 48-member band consisting of some of the finest wind instrumentalists and percussionists on campus.

Admission is $5 at the door; OSU students with ID are admitted free of charge.
