CORVALLIS, Ore. – Auditions for Oregon State University Theatre’s winter production, “The Little Prince,” will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 and Nov. 13 in the Withycombe Hall main stage theatre, 2901 SW Campus Way, Corvallis.

The adaptation of the beloved children’s novel will be directed by OSU Theatre alumna Jen Waters. The play follows the story of an unlikely meeting between an airline pilot and a mysterious Little Prince visiting Earth from a distant planet.

Auditions are open to OSU students, faculty and staff and community members. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts are available to check out in the Theatre Arts office in Withycombe Hall 145. The cast will feature an ensemble of 11-15 performers.

Performance dates are March 1-3 and March 8-10 with technical and dress rehearsals Feb. 24 through March 2. All performers must be available for all technical rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals will begin Jan. 8 and generally run Sundays through Thursdays until technical rehearsal week.
