CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Fairbanks Gallery of Art at Oregon State University presents “Frame,” the 2020 Plinkiewisch Art Scholarship Exhibition, through March 25.
“Frame” is a show that represents the work of eight 2019-2020 Plinkiewisch Art Scholarship recipients at OSU. Those students are: Juniper Alliston, Alia Campbell, Willow Cope, Poiema Lee, Paris Myers, Jennifer McCloskey, Kate Quamma and Ana Pearse.
The Helen E. Plinkiewisch scholarship was established in 1995 through the estate of Plinkiewisch in memory of her mother, Amy Rosina Hansen. The award, which can cover half or all of a student’s tuition, is initially granted for one year, with a renewal process each spring that determines whether students will receive support for additional years of study.
The Fairbanks Gallery of Art is located on the first floor of Fairbanks Hall at 220 SW 26th St. on the Corvallis campus. It is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is open every third Thursday of the month until 8 p.m. as part of the Corvallis Art Walk.
The gallery is also part of the OSU Campus Gallery Walk, which happens one evening each term. The Gallery Walk for spring term will be announced soon. For more information go to https://liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/sac/fairbanks-gallery-art.
