March is Food Drive time
This March, Oregon State University is participating in the Governor’s State Employee Food Drive. Last year, Oregon State contributed the equivalent of 467,777 meals to local residents in need through employee contributions.
Contributions are gathered in three main ways: payroll contributions, food collection and fundraising activities such as fun runs, food sales and silent auctions.
“Not only do we get to make a positive impact for our community, we get to have a little friendly competition between units,” said Food Drive Coordinator Teri Trujillo.
