Theresa Hogue is an Oregon native who has worked as a writer her entire adult life. She was previously a reporter for a number of Oregon newspapers, but came to Oregon State University in 2008 to work in the Office of News & Research Communications as the internal communications coordinator. In addition to being the editor of the faculty and staff online magazine LIFE@OSU and the daily e-newsletter OSU Today (which currently has 13,000 subscribers), Hogue also covers OSU Libraries and Student Affairs for the university. She is married to OSU philosophy professor Joseph Orosco and has a son and step-daughter, as well as three dogs and two cats, all rescues, as well as four chickens. In addition to managing her menagerie, she enjoys international travel, gardening and working on her home.
