Oniko Mehrabi grew up in Portland, Oregon, and met her husband Ali there. After many years of battling traffic and city life, they moved to Prineville with hopes of slowing down. They loved the small, Central Oregon town with 300 days of sunshine and a great school system for their son. They never planned to start a business, and they now say finding the Pine Theater was a “divine accident.” Renovating and opening the historic theater, which had been closed for many years, completely changed the Mehrabi’s lives and connected them more closely to their community than they ever thought possible.
