Please welcome Demian Hommel (College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences), as the 2020-2021 Center for Teaching and Learning Faculty Fellow. Hommel will coordinate the Blended Learning Innovations in Pedagogy (BLIP) initiative designed to leverage technology to increase learning in key campus courses. Building on lessons learnt from the All Hands on Deck endeavors, BLIP will feature a special course design institute, fund class innovations, and faculty learning communities. Featuring collaboration between the CTL, Ecampus, Academic Technology, and the Office of Undergraduate Education, this position will be involved in an issue of strategic importance to the university.
