Oregon State University faculty and staff are invited to participate in virtual open forums next week to learn about and contribute to OSU’s planning for the potential return of on-site university activities as COVID-19 public health conditions and state and local health department authorizations allow.

Provost Ed Feser and Vice Provost for Student Affairs Dan Larson are hosting the sessions to provide resumption planning updates, answer questions and solicit feedback and advice from our faculty, staff and students. The forums will be held online through Zoom on:

  • Monday, May 18 from 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 19 from 8:30 to 9: 30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, May 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. (This session will offer an OSU-Cascades focus and include Becky Johnson, OSU-Cascades vice president.)

The link for each Zoom session is: https://oregonstate.zoom.us/j/95763201701.

In order to join the forum remotely, you will be required to sign into Zoom using your OSU ONID address. Sessions will be moderated, and those viewing will be able to submit pandemic-related questions for response. If time does not allow for all pandemic questions to be addressed, recordings of the forums will be posted on the university’s COVID-19 website and provide written responses to questions on the website, as well.

During the week of May 25, OSU plans to hold a Corvallis/Benton County community virtual forum and also a Bend/Central Oregon community forum.
