Life at OSU

Oregon State University is increasing its outreach to Native American communities in Oregon and across the country by enabling tribal members to earn college degrees through OSU’s nationally ranked online programs.

Oregon State University invites Corvallis-area community members to share their input for a long-term vision for the university’s Corvallis campus. 

Dan Larson, a longtime leader at Oregon State University who has helped guide extensive student success efforts inside and outside the classroom, on Monday was named the university’s vice provost for student affairs.

A 15-member search committee has been named to help Oregon State University’s Board of Trustees select the university’s next president.

Oregon State University President Edward J. Ray Monday applauded the regional collaboration underway in support of Oregon State University – Cascades during his annual State of the University Address. He also called upon local community members to join him in urging state leaders to increase funding for higher education in Central Oregon and around the state.

Oregon State University has named Grace Kuo, who has spearheaded national models of collaboration between physicians and pharmacists, as dean of OSU’s College of Pharmacy. Kuo presently serves as a professor and associate dean at the University of California, San Diego.

The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will hold 10 listening sessions April 30 and May 1 around Oregon to gather input from the public and university stakeholders regarding OSU’s strengths, the challenges the university will face over the next decade, and the attributes that the university’s next president should possess.
