The Oregon State University Board of Trustees Friday approved tuition for the 2019-20 academic year representing a 4.29% increase for full-time Oregon resident undergraduates attending OSU’s Corvallis campus and a 4.44% increase for full-time resident undergraduates at OSU-Cascades.

Pat Reser, an alumna and longtime supporter of Oregon State University and the chairperson of the university’s initial board of trustees will receive an honorary doctorate at OSU’s commencement ceremony on June 15.

Oregon State University’s Board of Trustees Monday announced a community engagement process to help the board select OSU’s next president.

The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will meet Friday, April 5, to consider tuition rates, mandatory fees and student incidental fees for the 2019-20 academic year and summer session 2019. The board also will consider approval of the Merryfield Hall capital project on OSU’s Corvallis campus and proposed amendments to the board officers policy, and will hear a legislative update. 

Edward J. Ray, Oregon State University’s president since July 2003, announced today that he will step down as OSU’s president when his current five-year contract ends on June 30, 2020.

Jane Lubchenco, a world-renowned leader in environmental research and an Oregon State University marine ecologist, will deliver the commencement address at OSU’s 150th graduation ceremony.
