Why did you want to return to Oregon State?
As spring term concludes, Oregon State University is offering a series of special individual free drop-in mental health and support sessions to students and employees. The free sessions are provided by a partnership with Lines for Life suicide and crisis hotline and the Oregon Health Authority.

Building on years of preparation and planning, in July 2024, OSU launched project teams for the Administrative Modernization Program (AMP), a series of institution-wide initiatives to modernize and simplify routine administrative work so that university employees have more time to focus on the goals of OSU’s strategic plan, Prosperity Widely Shared.
Oregon State University makes an extraordinary impact on Oregon’s economy through operations, capital projects, wages, and student and visitor spending to support local and statewide economies to the tune of $3.5 billion annually. And for every $1 invested in the university by the state, OSU returns $13.18 to Oregon’s economy.
AI Week 2025 at Oregon State University takes place April 28 to May 2 to celebrate OSU’s commitment to the ethical and innovative use of AI in higher education.
At the fourth annual Inclusive Excellence Research Reception on April 16, Oregon State leaders emphasized the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence and its importance in successfully following through on the goals of the university’s strategic plan, Prosperity Widely Shared.
As a land grant institution, President Jayathi Murthy said, OSU’s central value proposition lies in inclusive excellence.
